The program shows the alphabet, one character at a time in the yellow part of the screen. The user selects a character by pressing the switch. The so formed sentences are shown in a scroll bar on the top of the screen, so the user can read the words withhout moving his eye.

Speach processor
Every sentence is spoken by a speech processor (English, Dutch, German and French are available).
The characters can be chosen in the normal  or the priority alphabet for the desired language (most used characters first).
Another possibility is to enter characters by forming Morse-code with the switch. This is a very quick method.

Graphic symbols

It is also possible to use graphic symbols to select a word or a complete sentence. The symbols can be either self-created or standard symbol languages.

Locked in?

The program is especially designed for people suffering from the Locked in Syndrom (LIS) or Brainstem Stroke.

A LIS patient helped me very much designing the menu structure. Only with his knowledge and experience this program could be designed.

He has a single switch activated by his lip.

A build -in speech generator makes it possible to "speak".

Another possibility is to read and write texts files on the PC. Files can be Scrolled through, and spoken.

E-mail

A connection with your email- program makes it possible to read and write e-mail without the help of others. This gives the user the possibility to communicate with the world! An option to read and write WEB pages is under development.

When no physical movement is possible, we can link the program to the EMG signals on the head, so no external switches have to be used.

Unique

Every patient is unique: this program can be adapted to your special wishes. Ask the developers for possibilities.
