WebMag is a webpage magnifier, especially designed for persons with limited vision.

Webmag makes it possible to load a webpage and magnify its contents, and then let it scroll like on a messageboard.

The scroll function is very suitable for persons whose eye-movent functions are limited. WebMag is available as a module in the communication program SIDE.

WebMag Demonstation

A demonstation showing the main functions of WebMag is available now. This demo shows the main functions of WebMag: two online webpages can be viewed, magnified and scrolled over the screen: you can choose between the HEServis homepage and a news page.

The slidebars can be used to adjust the magnification and scroll speed.

The button "NextLine" is used to view the next part of the magnified screen.

When your eyes cannot move, only a small part of the screen can be seen sharp. WebMag makes it possible to see the whole page also with limited vision.

Q: How can I determine whether WebMag is suitable for a future user?

A: If the user can sees the Webpage better than in a normal browser, or with a standard screen magnifier, webmag can be advised.WebMag is currently available as a module in SIDE. There it can be used with a single switch as input to operate most functions.
